What Happens When You Leave the Shore
Peter didn't walk on water because he was fearless. He walked because he had a word from God and he stepped out of the boat. The miracle doesn't happen on the dock.
Teaching Highlights
- Jesus "constrained" the disciples to get into the boat. That word means he had to compel them. At least four were fishermen who could read the weather. They knew a storm was forming, and Jesus was telling them to sail into it.
- Most of us want the miracle from the safety of the shore. But the miracle doesn't happen on the dock. It happens in the deep water, in the dark, with waves crashing over the side of a boat you didn't want to be in.
- Less than 24 hours before the storm, these same disciples watched Jesus feed 5,000 people from five loaves and two fish. They had all the evidence they needed. They just hadn't processed it yet.
- Peter asked for a word before stepping out: "Lord, if it is You, command me to come." He didn't rely on feelings. He needed a word from God, and when he got it, he moved.

- The disciples had just watched the feeding of the 5,000. What evidence of God's faithfulness have you already seen that you haven't fully processed?

Position Yourself for a Miracle
God doesn't force miracles on people. You have to position yourself to receive. Most people are "shooting at nothing" — they haven't aimed their faith at anything specific.
Teaching Highlights
- If you aim at nothing, you'll hit it every time. Andrew calls it "shooting at nothing." People say they believe God for a miracle, but they haven't identified what they're believing for or taken a single step toward it.
- At Healing Is Here conferences, Andrew asks first-timers to stand. Nearly 80% raise their hands. People hear about healing for years — and never show up to receive it. That's not a faith problem. It's a positioning problem.
- "His will, His bill." If God told you to do something, He has already arranged the provision. You don't fund the vision. You follow it, and the resources follow you.
- The word "mixed" in Hebrews 4:2 means the hearing and the faith were never combined. They heard the same promise. It didn't profit them because they never mixed it with faith — they never acted on it.

When Your Heart Is Hard and You Don't Know It
A hard heart doesn't mean you're rebellious. It means you've stopped being amazed at what God has done. And that's the most dangerous place a believer can be.
Teaching Highlights
- Mark 6:52 says the disciples didn't understand the miracle of the loaves because "their heart was hardened." These weren't skeptics. They were the twelve. They had just watched Jesus multiply food for 5,000 people, and within hours they were terrified by a storm.
- Andrew tells the story of a man in Omaha — a quadriplegic. He couldn't move anything from the neck down. Andrew prayed for him and the man started moving his fingers, then his hands, then his arms. He walked out of his wheelchair. But instead of being stunned, Andrew realized he wasn't even that amazed. That scared him more than the miracle itself.
- Faith and unbelief can coexist in the same person. Mark 9:24 — "Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!" The question isn't whether you have faith. The question is which one are you feeding.
- A hard heart doesn't always look like rebellion. Sometimes it looks like familiarity. You've heard so many sermons, read so many verses, been in so many services, that the supernatural has become routine. That's the hardening.

- Faith and unbelief can live in the same heart. Which one are you feeding right now — and how?

When Amazement Is the Problem
Being amazed at a miracle sounds like faith. But Mark 6:51 says the disciples were "greatly amazed" — and the very next verse calls that a hardened heart.
Teaching Highlights
- Mark 6:51-52 — the disciples were "greatly amazed in themselves beyond measure" when Jesus calmed the storm. That sounds like worship. But the next verse says they were amazed precisely because "their heart was hardened." Amazement was the symptom, not the faith.
- Andrew describes sitting on an airplane when a revelation hit him: if he truly believed what he preached — that healing is always God's will — then he shouldn't be amazed when someone gets healed. He should expect it. The amazement meant part of him still didn't believe it would happen.
- Ephesians 3:20 says God is able to do "exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think." Most people read that as a statement about God's power. Andrew reads it as a statement about our expectations. We're the limitation — not Him.
- The fix for a hardened heart is not more information. It's letting the truth you already know actually land. Stop treating the Word like a classroom subject and start treating it like oxygen.
