You Already Have the Faith of God
You don't have a faith problem. You have an unbelief problem. The faith you need came with your new birth, and now the work is learning what you already have.
Teaching Highlights
- Faith is given when you are born again. Andrew says believers receive the faith of the Son of God, rather than needing to build a small amount of faith into something greater.
- The focus is removing unbelief. Andrew and Carrie explain that seeing faith as already present changes the believer’s approach from trying to earn or obtain from God to learning to recognize what has been given.

Faith Beyond What You Can See
Your feelings and your circumstances don't get the final word. God's faith is already in your spirit, even when nothing around you seems to agree.
Teaching Highlights
- God’s faith applies to what cannot be seen. Andrew contrasts ordinary trust in a visible chair with faith in spiritual realities, which cannot be proven through the senses.
- Faith is in the born-again spirit. Andrew says believers have the same faith as Jesus in their spirit, while Carrie explains that their minds are still being renewed to understand what they have received.
- Believers are complete in Christ now. Carrie shares that understanding this gave her courage to move to Russia as a missionary, and Andrew connects spiritual identity with boldness.
- Believers have been given the same measure of faith. Andrew explains his reading of Romans 12:3 and Galatians 2:20, saying that believers live by the faith of the Son of God.

Learn What You Already Have
Every believer has received the same faith. What makes the difference is knowing God's Word well enough to recognize what you've been given and use it.
Teaching Highlights
- Believers have already obtained like precious faith. Andrew connects 2 Peter 1:1 with Romans 12:3 and Galatians 2:20 to explain that believers have the faith of the Son of God.
- Faith is acknowledged before it is used. Andrew says believers need to know and acknowledge the faith they have, rather than asking God for more.
- Knowledge of God comes through the Word. Andrew explains that God’s promises reveal what has been given, while Carrie says God’s gifts come from His character, not from a believer’s performance.
- Faith is mixed with the Word by believing it. Andrew and Carrie discuss Hebrews 4:2 and how believers can receive the Word as true instead of dismissing it because their experience has not yet changed.

See What You Already Have
You don't need more faith. You need to discover what you've got, and God's Word lets you see past what your senses are telling you.
Teaching Highlights
- Faith is already present in the believer. The focus is learning to recognize what God has given and clearing away unbelief, rather than trying to get more faith.
- God's Word shows what is true in the spirit. Andrew connects spiritual understanding to receiving the words of Jesus rather than relying only on physical feelings and circumstances.
- Salvation includes more than a future hope. Andrew compares it to a voyage where the fare included food, illustrating how people can miss what has already been provided.
- Choose to believe what the Word says. Carrie recounts a Charis student's decision to believe despite conflicting emotions and circumstances.

How Faith Is Released
The faith is already in you. Andrew and Carrie look at what keeps it from coming out, including unbelief, lack of knowledge, and the words we speak, and how it gets released.
Teaching Highlights
- Unbelief can hinder faith from being expressed. Andrew and Carrie emphasize that the issue is not having too little faith, and point to Jesus' experience in His hometown as an example of unbelief affecting what people received.
- Faith is expressed through words. Andrew uses the woman who touched Jesus' garment to show how she spoke what she believed before she acted.
- God is the source, and faith is released through action. Andrew compares God's power to electricity supplied to a building, saying believers learn to release what God has placed within them.
