Charis Bible Training Center - Atlanta, GA
As a U.S. extension campus of Charis Bible College, it serves the greater Atlanta area with hybrid full-time and part-time programs that combine in-person Saturday sessions with online coursework - bringing Bible-centered training to students without the need to relocate to the main campus in Woodland Park, Colorado.

ABOUT VERNON
Vernon has a heart to see students set free to focus on the tremendous Love of God toward them. He was saved at a young age and then taught that works were necessary to please God. This view led to a wrong understanding of God’s Love. After Charis, his wife commented on the change within him and she started attending Charis.
Vernon is married to Brenda and together they have two daughters, a son-in-law and three grandchildren.
Vernon retired in 2015 after 33 years of employment in various roles in Financial Management for Georgia Pacific. During his last two weeks of work, he clearly heard in his mind this statement: "You can't get to where I need you to be from here." After retiring, he enrolled and completed Charis Bible college Atlanta in 2017. He then volunteered at Charis Atlanta for 5 years and has served as the Atlanta Coordinator for 3 years.
